Clear the Shelters - KGET

San Joaquin Construction Services is proud to be teaming up with Channel 17 for the 2020 Clear the Shelters event. Since 2016 Clear the Shelters has helped find forever homes for over 500 local pets. This year we want to help KGET 17 bring awareness to the event in hopes of clearing the shelters out once again. 

San Joaquin Construction Services believes every shelter pet deserves to be under a safe and loving roof. Let a shelter pet leave paw prints on your heart by giving them the forever home they deserve.

San Joaquin Construction Services is proud to sponsor Let's Talk Chalk on KGET 17. The kids in our community have been working hard  to share a positive message during these difficult times. Let's Talk Chalk on KGET 17 lets them share their positive sidewalk chalk images for all of Kern County to enjoy. KGET even featured some of their favorites on 17 News at Sunrise and Noon. We are proud to be a part of this wonderful community and would like to thank all the amazing children that helped us make Kern County a little brighter. Me & My Dad - KGET 17

San Joaquin Construction Services is proud to be teaming up with Channel 17 for a special Father's Day segment called Me & My Dad. Viewers can honor their Fathers by submitting a picture of themselves with their dad. Pictures are then featured on KGET.com and some even make it on the sunrise show on KGET 17.

CBC's 10th Annual "Fun Under the Son" Car Show

San Joaquin Construction Services helped out our friends over at Bakersfield Boxers & Bullies Rescue by providing some much needed shade with our canopy at Saturdays CBC's 10th Annual "Fun Under the Son" Car, Truck&Motorcyle Show.

Bakersfield Boxers & Bullies Rescue is a non-porfit organization in Bakersfield, CA., whoes mission is to help enspire Boxer and Pit Bull owners through support, education and training. This organization truly believes pets are family and treats every dog with respect and bundles of love. If you are a dog lover and looking for an organization to donate your time, money or home to as a foster home for rescues, then this is it.

KGET 17

San Joaquin Construction Services once again teamed up with KGET 17 to be the exclusive sponsored  of Senior Sendoff on KGET 17. This amazing segment recognized our amazing local student athletes. As we all know, due to the Coronavirus crisis, high school senior athletes will not be allowed to compete in any spring sports, like Lacrosse, Baseball, Track and Field, etc. They won’t have those cherished moments to reflect on all their hard work and accomplishments like all the high school athletes before them. KGET 17 wants to honor these athletes and showcase the talents and strengths of these players, coaches and teams.

The Mac & Cheese Fest

San Joaquin Construction Services attended The Mac & Cheese Festival at CSUB (benefiting The Runner Scholarship Fund) on Saturday April 21, 2018. Wine, beer and gourmet Macaroni & Cheese were of abundance, along with drones of hungry and parched patrons.

Several local restaurants attended the 5th annual festival, sharing their unique, off-the-wall take on Mac & Cheese, including, concoctions like, Murray Family Farms' Berry Cordial Mac & Cheese. Live music filled the air, while seas of people enjoyed their scrumptious samples, fine crafted beers and delectable wines. This is defiantly a event you want to mark on your calendar for next year.
